A. Preparation before construction:
Wall cleaning: Ensure that the wall is clean, dust-free, free of debris, and flat and dry.
Measurement marking: Use a level to measure and mark the installation reference line.
Tool preparation: Prepare structural adhesive (such as Sika adhesive), air nail gun, cutting tool, level, tape measure, adhesive gun, etc.
B. Installation process:
Apply adhesive: Apply specialized structural adhesive or backing adhesive evenly on the back of SPC wall panels. If the wall surface is uneven, increase the amount of adhesive.
Laying the first piece: Starting from the corner of the wall or one side, buckle the first piece of board outward (or as needed), and use a level to calibrate the verticality.
Splicing buckle: Insert the male buckle into the female buckle of the previous one at a 15-20 degree tilt angle on the second board and tightly fasten it.
Leveling and fixing: Use a rubber hammer to lightly tap the board surface to make the buckle connection tight, check the flatness, and if necessary, use an air nail gun to strengthen the fixing in concealed areas.
C. Corner and Edge:
Yin Yang corner treatment: Use specialized corner lines to close the corners of the wall, or cut the board for hard splicing (flat joint).
Cutting and splicing: When encountering sockets and switches, it is necessary to accurately measure and cut the board.
Final trimming: Use skirting boards and edge strips to finish, and fill the joints with structural adhesive or glass adhesive.
D. Notes:
SPC wall panels should be installed after the acceptance of concealed works such as waterproofing and water and electricity.
During installation, small expansion joints should be reserved according to the specific characteristics of the board.
It is best to place wall panels of the same color code but different batches separately to avoid color differences.
